Composition and Application
x ray flaw detector consists of three parts,controller, generator
and connection cable .
X Ray flaw detector plays important parts in carrying on
nondestructive examination for nonmetallic, light metal, casting,
various alloys and pressure vessels etc, mainly detecting weld
defects ,such as crack, blowhole, entrapped slag, incomplete fusion
,blowhole,bubble etc ,also using for shipbuilding ,airplane and
national defense etc industry fiel.
Matters needing attention
(1) Because of the system work, to produce a high voltage pulse
controller, induction to the housing, to connect the ground when
necessary. When erecting generator in welding plate and the
workpiece, the generator with iron and workpiece distance, avoid
the welding current through the generator, the low voltage cable
into the control box will damage to the machine.
(2) X ray generator and controller are forced air cooling, the fan
will cool air into the device, so the device is not in use, sand
dust, moisture and other occasions. Attention should be paid to the
vents, exhaust port should not be obstructed, if the cooling fan is
stopped in a short period of time, the temperature will rise
failure, so every day before use to check.
(3) The input AC voltage at 220V + 10% range, if the input voltage
is too high (such as 380V) will use the instrument to burn out. If
the input voltage is too low, the instrument can not work normally.
